JUST CHILLIN'
Supplies - Patterned Cardstock: Bo Bunny; Alphabet: American Crafts and Doodlebug Design; Stickers and Clouds: Bo Bunny; Embroidery Thread: DMC; Sketch: Allison Davis, Sketch Support and Scrapbook Generation
Variation #1- The first change I made was to the striped strip on the bottom below the 4 x 6 photo. I wanted to create a water affect so I cut strips of blue paper and punched them with a circle punch to create the waves.
Variation #2- I used wallet photo's instead of the suggested 3 x 3 photo's.
Variation #3- The last change I made was to the striped 1/2 x 12 strips. Since I used wallets I didn't have enough photo's to run the length of the page so I opted to cut the strips to the same length of my photo's.

A dream come true
As most of you know, it has always been a dream of mine to get published in a craft magazine. Well on Wednesday, March 9th, I received an email from Creating Keepsakes Magazine that would make my dream come true. They wanted to publish one of my layouts!!! Holy Moly!!! I was in such shock that I didn't believe the email was real and thought it was some sort of scam so I had to reread it several times for it to sink in. I had so many emotions running through my head that I just kept saying, "oh my god, oh my god" and then I began to question why they wanted me. After screaming, jumping up and down, crying and a few phone calls I realized that my dream was really coming true. This is such a blessing and I am so thankful for this opportunity!
It still feels weird knowing that the editors at Creating Keepsakes Magazine has my layout and that I am going to be published in a magazine, but it is a good weird feeling. And one that I am going to soak up for a long time. Or at least until the September 2011 issue is released.
I also had the opportunity to have one of my layouts "spotlighted" on the Club CK blog last week. If you would like to check it out please visit, Club Creating Keepsakes.

Beautiful Spring Day
Doesn't this layout just make you wish for Spring to hurry up and get here? I know it does for me. I'm for one tired of Winter and the cold.

Happy Birthday Card
I was so excited when I received this card sketch from Allison. I immediately knew what I wanted to create and what products I planned to use. Let me know what you think.

This is a perfect sketch for birthdays, but I already have several different ideas for it. Stay tuned to see what else I create and don't forget, I always love seeing what everyone else creates. So, if you would like to share your creations with me, please post a link to your blog and I will be sure to check out your project. Have a great week!
