Quilting

Every year a group of us go to a little town about an hours drive from home.  We rent a hotel room or a condo on the lake and craft all weekend long.  Some of us scrapbook and others quilt.  I decided this year that I wanted to make a quilt.  I haven't made one in years, like 5 to be exact.    I started ironing my fabric and cutting it all out Friday around 8 p.m. and quit about 11 p.m.  Saturday morning I got up at 6 a.m. to make breakfast for everyone and was back at it by 11 a.m.  I stayed up till 1:30 a.m. trying to finish it, and I did.  I was determined to finish it in one weekend.  I forgot how much fun it was to quilt.  I'm really excited to make another one and to also make an apron.
